UKARIMU TOURNAMENT. Empowerment of youth through sport..

Ukarimu Tournament is changing lives of many young people and the community at large.Homa bay County had a reason to smile and be kept engaged...
The inaugural Ukarimu Kenya annual tournament was held on the international day of Sports for Development and Peace on the 6th of April 2014 at the Homa Bay stadium. Over 10 thousand spectators were attracted to the event.Many thanks to those who came to support.See you again in 2015-Team Ukarimu
Ukarimu Tournament is using Sport, as a tool for education, development and peace to promote cooperation, solidarity, tolerance, understanding, social inclusion and health at the local, national and international levels..

Sports also helps instil values such as teamwork, fairness, discipline, respect for the opponent and the rules of the game are understood all over the world and can be harnessed in the advancement of solidarity, social cohesion and peaceful coexistence.
